2008 Capital to Capital Ride

by admin on January 31, 2008

Don’t miss one of Virginia’s biggest (over 600 riders) and most enjoyable bike events! A fundraiser for the Virginia Capital Trail, the Capital to Capital ride follows the Route 5 corridor alongside the trail, with some backroad loops thrown in. Unique, dual starts from both Richmond and Jamestown bring riders together for a homestyle barbecue lunch at the midpoint in Charles City. Century and half-century options are available. Terrain is gently rolling. See the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation website for more information.

Registrations are way up this year and we’re expecting more than 800 riders!! We just added a 25 mile option (from Dorey Park only). Ride to the Charles City lunch stop and catch a ride back on a Richmond city (Thank you GRTC!) bus back to Dorey. Register online @ http://www.virginiacapitaltrail.org
See you on May 10!

On this webpage, you are showing the Cap2Cap ride as being May 10. It’s actually May 9. Please change this.

Sam, this is an old page, for the 2008 ride. The 2009 ride is listed here: http://www.vabike.org/capital-to-capital-ride-cap2cap-may-2009/
