Google Maps “Bike There” Petition

There’s a petition going around to get Google to add a “bike there” option to the “directions” in Google Maps, similar to the “take public transit” option available for a few places already. The Google Maps Bike There website has a link to sign the petition, plus some other neat stuff.

SB 644 Committee Vote Postponed Until Thursday

SB644, Stop for Pedestrians in Crosswalks, was Passed By (postponed) for the day today in the House Transportation Committee and will be heard Thursday at 8:30 a.m.Apparently Sen. Ticer had a conflict and requested that it be passed by.

The House Transportation Committee docket for tomorrow (1/2 hour after adjournment, which usually means around 2 p.m.) has just been posted, and SB644 is listed.
