A Virginia woman has been charged with reckless driving in the death of a 49 year old cyclist, nearly three months after the accident which occurred on August 25.
Jessica L. Chandler, a 22-year-old from Port Republic, Virginia was charged in the death of Joseph V. Mirenda, a 49-year-old from Virginia Beach. Mirenda was riding from Wintergreen to visit his son, a student at James Madison University when he was struck and killed. Mirenda died at the scene of the accident.
