Rails-to-Trails Seeks Your Help Mapping With GPS

The Rails to Trails Conservancy is using GPS to map all the rail-trails in the US for the first time. They’re seeking help from trail users to collect GPS tracklogs and waypoints. If you’re interested in helping, all you need is a GPS unit. If you don’t have one, RTC can arrange a loaner. For more information, see the GPS mapping page at the RTC website, or send an email to frederick@railstotrails.org.

I am the sponsor of an outdoor ed group and would like to arrange for a loaner GPS to introduce the kids to geocaching while on a trip to the New River Trail in the spring of 2011. Can you tell me how to arrange the loan of a GPS?
